How do you do keyword research?

Find related search terms

When you search for a term in Trends, you see searches related to your term in the related searches sections at the bottom of the page. If you're comparing multiple search terms, SEO services in UK locations, or time ranges, you can see related top searches by selecting the tab for your term.

Analyze the strength of your keywords

Keyword analysis is the process of evaluating and analyzing search terms in an effort to determine which keywords are ideal for an SEO campaign. Factors typically used to assist with keyword analysis include monthly search volume, level of SERP competition, and conversion potential.

Determine how you rank in your industry

If you want to check your SEO rankings on Google and don't want to count the results individually, only a live rank checker can help. Simply enter your keyword (this can also be a group of words or a phrase) and add your domain. By clicking on "Check ranking", your ranking is retrieved within seconds.

Verify search intent

Another way to determine search intent is to research the SERPs. Type in the keyword you're targeting into the search bar and see what Google comes up with. You'll likely be able to tell by the types of results what Google deems the most relevant search intent for each term
